ChatToPdf provides a service to convert chat export files into professionally formatted PDF documents. Our service includes:

• • Converting messages into formatted PDF documents
• • Three service tiers: Basic, Standard, and Premium
• • Email delivery of completed PDF files
• • Customer support for technical issues

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You will not:

• • Upload content that violates any laws or regulations
• • Upload content that infringes on third-party rights
• • Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise our systems
• • Use the service for spam, harassment, or abusive purposes
• • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy our service
• • Share your account credentials with others

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you upload to our service. You represent and warrant that you have the right to upload and process the chat files you submit.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activities that occur under your account.

Pricing

• • Basic: $15 - Standard formatting, up to 1,000 messages
• • Standard: $35 - Enhanced formatting, up to 5,000 messages, media references
• • Premium: $60 - Legal formatting, unlimited messages, priority support

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through PayPal. We do not store your payment information on our servers.

Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

• • Technical failure preventing PDF generation within 48 hours
• • Service not delivered as described
• • Requests made within 7 days of purchase

Refunds are not available once a PDF has been successfully generated and delivered.

We strive to maintain high service availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Our service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• • Scheduled maintenance and updates
• • Technical issues or system failures
• • Third-party service dependencies
• • Force majeure events

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of scheduled maintenance in advance.

File Limitations

• • Maximum file size: 50MB per upload
• • Supported formats: .txt and .zip WhatsApp exports
• • Processing time: 5-30 minutes depending on file size
• • Message limits vary by plan tier

Technical Limitations

• • Media files are referenced but not embedded in PDFs
• • Some message formatting may be simplified
• • Deleted messages cannot be recovered
• • Service requires valid WhatsApp export format

Our total liability for any claims related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service that gave rise to the claim, with an absolute maximum liability cap of R10,000 (Ten Thousand South African Rand) per incident.

We provide the service "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Users acknowledge that document formatting does not guarantee suitability for any specific purpose.

Your uploaded files are automatically deleted within 24 hours of processing. Generated PDFs are available for download for 30 days before deletion.

We may terminate or suspend your access to our service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these terms or engage in prohibited activities.

Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately, and any pending orders will be completed or refunded at our discretion.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or prominent website notice.

Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of our service shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa, with jurisdiction in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
